I was shocked to learn of Steve's sudden passing. He was a good man and a dear friend. I enjoyed our close friendship during our younger years. Please accept my most sincere condolences. Condolences to Stephen’s friends and family. I was lucky enough to attend his captains course and was able to obtain my license through his guidance. He brought fun to the course and I enjoyed the short time I was able to know him. Fair winds and calm seas Captain.

I had enjoyed Stephen on his boat at Squadron and district functions. We shared many stories together. He also taught a weather class to me. Strange enough we were talking at Kevin Parks service. He was a great guy. The lord took good guy. I will miss him. Prayers to his family

My thoughts and prayers are with Steve’s family. I just met Steve this year at the Boat Yard Restaurant and we got talking about boating and his family. He would come over to A dock where our boat is and Steve would have a white rum and seltzer and we both got a little tipsy, so it was getting late and I walked him back to his boat on D dock, well he invited me in to see his boat but I was very tipsy lol. Then Steve said let me walk you back to your boat to make sure that you make it back safe.! If I let that happen we would have walked back and forth all night. He was a great person and Marilyn and I will miss our new friend. It was my honor to know him even if it was a short time. God Speed Captain Steve
