What an angel. I worked with Amy for several years. When i started, she took care of everything, but mainly, she made me feel at ease and welcomed. She did this with everyone. She had a calm and a voice of reason. You could throw any dilemma her way, she'd think a while, and come back with a solution- and a "great idea". Always turning lemons into lemonade. Recipes- how to make the best cake pops, and carrot cake.
Made literally, everyone, feel special. She never "kinda" listened. She always totally listened. Smart as a whip / witty/ kind/ always willing to help/ and funny. She loved her family, and totally respected everyone's family. Like, stopping by my office...... "go home, it's late, your daughter is home from college, go home". She was pretty much always right.

Please accept my sincerest condolences and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Amy is one of a kind. One of the best. We sat together and watched many Penfield Little League baseball games and she would invite me over to your house for parties. We stayed in touch all these years later after watching my Jake Griggs and Zach play baseball. I am very sorry for your families great loss. -Jennifer Catone

For years we were neighbors on the Meadowlark cul-de-sac, and the closest of friends. In fact we became friends with everyone on the street and Amy and Dave would host 'lawn ornament' parties and beach parties that grew in magnitude as the years progressed. Every neighborhood party had a theme and kids were always part of the fun. I'll never forget celebrating Dave and Amy's wedding anniversary by creating a mock wedding in their backyard complete with chuppah, vows and bridesmaids in prom gowns. The aisle was lined in toilet paper. Amy always had the most creative ideas and no matter how outlandish we managed to pull them off. She had a wit like no one I have ever known (especially when with Beth). These were the best years of my family's life, in part, because we belonged to a larger family and community. We helped each other out in hard times (like sharing a generator during the ice storm) and supported each other through many of life's challenges. I can easily say that Amy was one of my best life friends and her passing leaves a hole in my soul. Much love Dave and the whole Koenig family. The Drescher's will never forget.
I hope someone can post pictures from this happy time in our neighborhood.

Dave, my heart breaks for you and the kids and grandkids, all of your family and dear friends. Amy dwells in my heart and soul forever. Am took care of me, my family, and my company. A stalwart, loyal, and loving friend, Am never left my side, through thick and thin, and you know all this. And how many dozens of people could say the same thing about Am in their life, many no doubt. A very special woman. I will always cherish our shared trust, love, and deep friendship, and never forget our constant laughter that we shared. We sure had fun, we sure did, didn’t we Am? I don’t know what I’ll do without you but, as always, I know you’ll show me the way through. I love you.
