Our condolences to Tom and family. Barb and I were work friends at M&T, we enjoyed many lunches together, talking about our families. I have great memories of filling shopping carts with hundreds of toys for the holiday party, then going to the hotel the night before the party, and wrapping all those gifts! We always had a great committee, and through Barb’s great leadership, things always ran smoothly. It was a great start to the holiday season for me, and hundreds of children that enjoyed the yearly event.
Barb was a great person who put her all into everything she did. She has left some big shoes to fill!
Until we meet again, my friend.

It is with a heavy heart that we express our sincerest condolences on the passing of Barb Moynihan. Barb was not only a valued colleague at M&T Bank but also a genuinely wonderful person whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her. I personally will always remember Barb as the mastermind behind our cherished M&T children’s holiday parties. My sons still talk about the "nice lady" who made those events so special for them, filling the season with joy and laughter. We were also fortunate to share in a few memorable M&T trips that Barb organized to San Diego and Las Vegas. Barb was truly a remarkable asset to the M&T family, and her absence will be deeply felt by everyone.
As we remember and celebrate her life, our thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family during this profoundly difficult time.
Michael, Amy, Jack, and Josef Steger

Barb and I worked together for 16 years but most importantly she was my friend. We shared hours and hours gushing over our families, most especially our grandchildren. Her dedication to both her work and family was something to admire. Barb was a generous, kind, helpful, loving person and it was a joy knowing her. Know that the love and wisdom you bestowed on your family will live on for generations to come. We will miss our colleague but most importantly my friend. God Bless you and your family. You are in God’s hands now, rest in peace my friend. ~Sandi

This is sad and heartbreaking Aunt Barbara has passed away. One of many “Best Aunts” us Lehon children have! The memories made in New York and in California I am lucky to have been loved and blessed with her in my life. Today I would say we visited too little, always though I will say and remember the visits were special. Great family times, sincere love, fantastic meals and drinks…..then Abbott’s Frozen Custard to top off an evening. Love to my Uncle Tommy. Sincerest condolences,
Anne

Barb and I worked together at Central Trust/M&T Bank for the entire 34 years I was there. I was in the Commercial Loan area and then Loan Review, until the merger with M&TBank in 1992. She was always a good friend and willing to do anything to help the bank and other employees. After we moved to AZ in 2005 following my retirement, I only saw her during our summer trips back to visit Rochester. Barb was always willing to do anything that would help the bank or its employees. I misses seeing her since Covid cut back our trips in the last couple years. God be with you Barb and we will see you on the other side.

“Mom” you will be so greatly missed! You always made me feel your home was my home! You treated Paxton as one of your grandchildren and me as one of your own! You have raised amazing children whom I consider family. You were an amazing wife, mom and grandmother! Yet you treated all of us extra children in your life the same! I am proud to have called you “mom” ❤️

My heart breaks for whole Moynihan family… I’ll always remember all the countless times I was over for Notre Dame football games and birthday parties.. Momma Moyn always had a huge spread of food.. She took care of everyone and I’ve always appreciated how she and everyone treated me like I was part of the family. I’ll miss her but I know she’ll be watching over her loved ones. May she RIP!
