Alerina was a beautiful, sweet, faithful woman. I looked forward to seeing her warm smile at morning Mass at Annunciation. She called me “Bella” and told me she understood when I read at Mass. I missed her once she couldn’t attend daily Mass, and was grateful to see her when her devoted daughter brought her to weekend Mass. Although I know she probably didn’t remember me during these last few years, I will always have fond memories of this wonderful loving woman who shared her faith and her love of life everyday.
