Nick and I recently spoke about and shared a few memories of Ron - mainly of the jokes and humor as mentioned in the obituary. Growing up as backyard neighbors, I’ve known the Ebersold Family for the better part of 27 years. They were a second family to me, and another home during breaks from school. There were 3 reasons I would excitedly cross my yard to theirs (almost daily); 1) to play with Nick and Nathan, 2) have one of the phenomenal dinners cooked by Elaine, and 3) chuckle at nearly everything Ron said. Those were the highlights of my childhood summer days, and Ron was certainly part of it. I can say with confidence Nick has grown up to become an equally loving (and funny) father, just like Ron.
