Another angel in heaven. Another bright star in the night sky. A sun filled day. A colorful bouquet. I’ll always think of her with a smile and a good laugh. My friend Carie. I’ll always remember. I will miss her greatly. God care for her and bless her family real good.

I know Bill from our Bonaventure days. I didn't really know Carie that well. From reading these wonderful tributes, God blessed you with 30 years of marriage to a real angel on earth. My thoughts and prayers to you and your daughers Bill.

Bill....I am soo sorry to hear about Carie. I believe I may have only met her once probably 30 years ago... but I always remembered that day. You and I were together on a sales call and you must have forgotten something we had to stop at your house for. Carie came to the door and I Immediately thought Wow what a beautiful lady you married. But most of alI I recall how engaging she was. Just from our brief conversation I could tell how sweet and caring a person she was .....she really made me feel like I was part of your family. From reading the other tributes here I can see that was the true Carie. Clearly one of Gods Angels sent to earth. Its funny how some people impress you so much but I can recall that day like it was yesterday. Marge and I will pray for her and you and your family.
God Bless you all. Charlie Piske

I've only had the pleasure of knowing Carie for the last few years, but at her 1st hair appointment with me I knew that she was going to be one of my favorite people ever. Her sense of humor, the energy she had for fun, and the way she loved her family and the people in her life gave her a permanent spot in my heart.

My husband Joe and Bill worked together so we went out to dinner with Carie and Bill years ago. It was the start of
A great friendship with the four of us going to dinners, drinks, concerts fundraisers and sports events. We had so many fun times and lots of laughs! Bill and I were known as the “youngsters” and Joe and Carie were the “Elders” as an example of the fun times we Had together( there really wasn’t much of an age difference among us). Joe is an avid Giants fan while of course Bill is a huge Bills fan. Carie went way overboard with having a tailgate party with half of it giants parapanelia and the other half Bills! Carie had such a big heart and always Thought of others before herself. Carie always had kind words and a smile which lighted up her face. She loved Bill and her girls so much! She will truly be missed and we were truly blessed to know her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bill,Emma and Jenna. She will always be remembered!

Carie has been a blessing in my life, and I am so lucky to be her sister-in-law and friend. I have never met anyone more thoughtful. We made many memories and shared many laughs during family trips, spa days, and girls weekends. She will be forever missed and in our hearts.

I knew Carie at Bona’s but not well. However, many years later she stepped up in a huge way to help my friends and I from Bona’s to run a bone marrow drive for another Bona member from our class.
Carie was so sweet and helped us on campus to organize the event. I got to talk with her for a while…her kindness and beautiful spirit really called out to me. I will never forget what she did to help our fellow alumni and friend who is well today.
I remember walking away thinking…how was I not friends with this amazing person?! God Bless you all and I will keep you in my prayers and Carie in my ❤️

Karen, this is so kind of you to share this memory! This really is a true example of who Carie was. I remember vividly how committed she was to this situation and the time, energy and heart that she put into it. She would say “Bill, what if we can help find the donor and potentially save his life, I need to do this”. For Carie it was never about recognition or credit, it was all about helping because it was important and because she could. She lived a very selfless life. We were so lucky!

What I would give for one more cocktail with you, Carie. You put on the best parties, made the most incredible food, and made everyone feel as if they were your favorite guest. You will be deeply, deeply missed. I am thankful for our time together and so lucky to have you as a sister in law. Gone too soon. Till we see each other again. Love you so much - Mandy Stoklosa

Our friendship goes back to Carie's pharma days. To know I will never have her in my life creates a proud sadness. She was the most incredible friend full of light and love. Her battle with cancer was well fought and I will miss her forever.
