Mary and I graduated from Mercy High back in 1956. Some of our classmates have been gathering at Bill Gray's to eat and chat. I am remembering seeing her a few months back ( before the coronavirus hit ) . Mary was always a beautiful woman, who carried herself with dignity and class. My prayers go out to Bill, Karen and Linda. I was happy to participate in her funeral celebration through the online streaming. You gave her a loving farewell. God bless all of you.

As one of Karen's childhood friends I always admired the fact that Mrs.Haas was so adventurous and fun-loving (camping, snowmobiling, skiing, square dancing, etc.) She was always elegant and gracious, even when we'd done something of which she disapproved. She made all of us, feel loved and special. I always felt a special bond with her... She and I shared a birth date, both had attended Mercy High School, both first generation Americans...
Heart-felt sympathy to Mr. Haas, Karen, Linda, and all of the family.
With love,
Margaret Mathe Leinberg

Dearest Haas family,
We knew Mary was not well, & only prayed our savior would spare her any pain. I don’t know how Mary did it by keeping so many people happy & always calling if she knew there was a problem in your family. She was the one friend who always went out of her way to make my hubby & me happy. To the end of our days, I will see her face & know she is in paradise. God bless the entire Haas/Neary family during this time of such sorrow. She sure made the world a better place, & I know GOD brought her to me to help me through life. We were instant friends when our sons became best friends in Webster. I couldn’t count the great memories @ Conesus Lake, Bonita Springs, FL, Barefoot Bay, FL, Aruba & our Webster neighborhood. God bless you Bill, Karen & Linda & your loving families & to know Brian is in paradise with his loving mother. Pam & Bob Rice, Livonia, NY

Aunt Mary- so many beautiful, wonderful memories I have. It was so fun coming to your house or the cottage for several holidays. You always treated us to special gifts, must of been your love for shopping. I have so many special trinkets to put out at Christmas that you bought me over the years. I remember visiting you in Florida and you wouldn’t let me leave a store until I picked out something I liked. Such a giver. How more special that gift is now for me. Love to Uncle Bill, Karen , and Lunda. She is with Brian now and at peace.
