My dearest Barb:
I send my love and prayers to you. What a great wife you were to him. Oh how he loved you. Since I have known you, you have been an amazing care giver.
I cant say enough about your loving husband. He has always been so wonderful, kind, and inspiring to me. As always, I cant believe I didn't spend more time with you and Sam.
I love you, always admired you. I pray that you find peace and happiness as you move forward with your life and plans.
I miss your friendship and our talks. You did such a great job taking care of Sam, that you never put yourself first. Amazing woman and amazing wife.
You have my deepest condolences. I am sad, I dont know what else to say.
I love you.

Barbara,
Our neighborhood has lost a very special man and our hearts are heavy. Sam was a man with great dignity. We treasured
his courage in his long years of suffering.
Sam was always positive with his kind words for all. Unless
you saw him closely as his body thinned and he tired, you would
not know he was suffering.
You enriched his life with your devotion and compassion.
Sam was dedicated to you and we will miss him outside
working to keep your property and the adjoining lot pristine.
Sam is with Our Heavenly Father and his family that preceded
him.God said that He has prepared a place for us.
. May Sam find the happiness he deserves.
Rest in peace,Sam.We wil watch over Barb and miss you being in your courtyard with her. No more pain and bravery.
Hopefully we will join you in the future.
With much love and continued prayers,
Margie & John

Dear Barbara:
Sam and Louie have been friends since their years at East High School. They reunited their friendship upon joining the Monroe County Sheriff's Department in 1967. It was then I met one of the most gentle men I have ever known. Sam became one of our DEAREST FRIENDS. We were both saddened when Sam started developing health problems. We never heard him complain - his responses "I'm okay" even when he was in pain.
You have been a devoted wife and I'm sure Sam was grateful and appreciative of everything you did.
When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Hold on to your memories, and let them guide you during this time of sadness.
We cannot take away your pain, but can listen whenever you need to talk about it.
We love you.
Louie and Eunice
