Donald Ferrara

Obituary of Donald R. Ferrara

Donald R. Ferrara, 70, of Walworth NY passed away unexpectedly on February 2nd 2024. Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Florence. Donald is survived by his three daughters, Alisha Ferrara, Nikki Ferrara, and Marisa Ferrara, as well as his two granddaughters Juliana and Angelina. He is also survived by his sister Darlene (Larry) Bonacci, Janene (Chris) Dias and close family-friend Gia Ferrara.

Don's friends and family will remember him as the most kind, hardworking, loving, optimistic, generous and caring man. Don had a great sense of humor, infectious laugh and loved to tell jokes. The dedication he had to the community in which he lived and friendships he made will leave a lasting impact.

Donald grew up loving music - it has always been a passion and one of his many dreams. From owning a music store and his DJ business, to being a member of many bands throughout his life and random jam sessions with friends; his love for music shined brightest when he was playing the guitar, singing, and discussing his favorite artists over the decades of great music.

Donald was also in the car business for many years. Those who have worked with him would refer to him as "Rocky", which the nickname would lovingly follow him for the rest of his life. One of the most important lessons he learned and instilled in everyone he met is the importance of relationships and connections you make with those you cross paths with.

Donald was so proud of his daughters and granddaughters & loved them with all of his heart. He made sure to instill his morals and values, as well as the importance of education, work ethic, family & constant communication. Donald would always stay in touch and would have frequent visits with those he loved - especially Mary Tandoi.

Donald was a man of faith, and his family believes he has been reunited with his beloved mother and father, and our loved ones who have gone before him.

Per Donald and family requests, services will be held privately at White Haven Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Don, who was an avid donor.
