Obituary of Salvatore G. Pipitone

Salvatore Giuseppe (Sal) Pipitone, 90, of Rochester, NY, passed away on December 12, 2023, in Aaron Manor Nursing Home.

Sal was born in Rochester, NY to Bernardo Pipitone and Rosalia Viviano, on November 20, 1933. He was the first in his family to go to college, where he received scholarships to the Rochester Institute of Technology, ultimately receiving his art degree from the Academy of Arts in Newark, NJ. His career spanned over 40 years in the printing and advertising industry, holding multiple management roles at The Case-Hoyt Corporation. He continued his education there, receiving multiple certificates in accounting and finance. Sal enjoyed baseball, golf, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

Sal is survived by his son, Michael Pipitone (Jeanie) of Roswell, GA and daughter, Lisa Trance (Joe) of Waxahachie, TX. Grandchildren, Anthony Marino, Adrianna Marino, Benjamin Pipitone. He is preceded in death by his longtime companion, Joanne Bates of Webster. 

Calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home (1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, NY 14580) on December 17th from 1-4pm. His Funeral Service will also be held at Falvo Funeral Home in Webster on December 18th at 10am. A private burial with immediate family will follow.
