Obituary of Mary Hall

Hall, Mary E. (Mortefolio) Ogden: Died May 20, 2014, at age 91. Born April 3, 1923 to Matteo and Antonietta (Sclafani) Mortefolio in Taghanic, NY. Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Clifford R. Hall; son, Clifford R. Hall, Jr.; and siblings, Joseph, Peter, Stephen, Anna, Rosalia and Sylvia. Survived by her son, Stephen (Erika) Hall; daughters, Beverly (John) Smalley, Noreen (Jim) Kroeger and Gail Hall. Mary was blessed with 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Bernice Richards (Donnie Meltz) of Hudson, NY; and brother, Matthew (Madaleine) Mortefolio of Ravena, NY; nieces and nephews. Mary loved to cook, play scrabble, be with her family, bowl and volunteer. She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt, and was a good neighbor and friend. Everyone who met her loved her. She will be missed by many. A special thanks to Dr. Srinivas Jonnala and his staff for taking care of Mary. A Mass in honor of her life will be be celebrated SATURDAY, JULY 19TH at 10:30AM in St. Jude's Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. As per Mary's wishes, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to St. Jude's Church.
