Homer, 94, was born in Irondequoit and lived most of his life there. He graduated from the U of R with an Engineering Degree, served in the Navy as a Lt. Commander during WWII, and settled into a long career with General Motors. Retiring from there he joined his brother, Roy and was a vital part of Krautwurst Brothers Builders. Homer loved farming, the outdoors, Canandaigua Lake and horses. All of these brought him endless hours of fun and many great friendships.
He was predeceased by his brother, Roy Krautwurst, and sister, Betty Naukam. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Sorensen, sister-in-law, Jeanne Krautwurst and brother-in-law, William Naukam and 13 nieces and nephews and their children.
Family and friends are invited to the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church (131 W. Main St., Webster) on Thursday, May 8th at 2PM.
Following the Service there will be refreshments served at the Church, shortly there after the family is invited to the Webster Cemetery for Burial.
