Obituary of CARL ZARCONE 

After a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Rochester, NY on January 31, 1934, to Mary (Dobis) and Carl Zarcone.  He was predeceased in death by his parents, and his lifetime companion , Dorothy C. Olson.  He is survived by 3 brothers, Joseph and Frank Zarcone of Rochester and Alfred (Delores) Zarcone of Glendale, Arizona. He is also survived by his companions 2 daughters, Carla Olson (Peter) of Redding, CT and Bonnie Olson (Franklyn) Moreno of Christiansburg, VA and their 7 children & 6 grandchildren; also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, Sandra Zarcone of Huntington Beach, CA, Jean (Terry) Wilbert of Glendale, AZ, Diane (James) Lawless of Keller, TX, Daniel (Cathy) Zarcone of Mesa, AZ, Robert (Linda) Zarcone of Mendon, NY, Mary (Niel) Katerle of Rochester, and Carl (Cathy) Zarcone of Williamson, NYCarl graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology, with an Electrical Engineering degree in 1957 and worked as a Research And Advanced Development Engineer for General Dynamics, Stromberg Carlson, Xerox and R.F. Communications (Harris Corp).  After his retirement in 1986, he did extensive traveling and spent many winters in Florida and Arizona.  He was also an ardent horse racing fan.
