Peacefully on April 21, 2008, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 86. Survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Jean M. (Freda) Petix; his children, Louis (Dawn) Petix, Lenora (Jeffrey) Lohmaier, Joseph (Isa) Petix; grandchildren, Rena, Salvatore and Anthony Petix, Michael and Thomas Lohmaier, Richard and Ronald Pignato; sister, Rosalee (Anthony) Picciarello; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Rose Petix, Jack and Angie Freda, Sam and MaryLou Ognibene; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sam was a WWII Veteran and the President and Owner of College Club Beverages. A family owned business since 1922.
