Obituary of CECIL HEATH

Chili: Cecila Ivan, "Bud" Heath, died at his winter home in Punta Gorda, FL. On April 1, 2008. He was born in Rawdon Township, Campellford, Ontario. The son of Everret and Anna (Neal) Heath. He was born into a family of 11 children, 9 boys and 2 girls. He is predeceased by his parents, 8 brothers, 1 infant sister, 8 sisters-in-law and his first wife Rose Marie (Imburgia) Heath. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Neal) Heath, 1 step-daughter, Karen Greene and 2 step-grandsons, Ryan and Dalton; also 1 foster son, Robert Pratt and grandchildren, Kara, Susan, Chris and Sara; as well, he is also survived by his sister, Helen and her husband, Don Case of Kingston Ontario, and sister-in-law, Mary Heath of Hastings, Ontario; many nieces and nephews. At age of 18 Cecil moved to Rochester, NY, where he joined and served 6 months in the Army Reserve at Fort Dix. He then signed up for four years with the U. S. Airforce. He then wished to further his formal education, not having his High School Mathematics or Science. He submitted his resumes to a number of colleges under the G. I. Bill of Rights, he was accepted at Utah State University. At the end of 5 years he graduated with a degree in Mechincal Engineering. His first position was with Boeing installing landing gears on the new 737 Aircrafts. Later he returned to Rochester, NY where he was employed in the Engineering Departments at Shuron/Textron and later at Art Craft. After retirement, he continued to do some consulting work with Retro Specs in California. Bud as he was known to many, will be remembered for his laughter and voice which resounded for blocks and most important was his love and concern for his family. Calling hours MONDAY 4-8 at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. Funeral Tuesday 12:30 from the Funeral Home and 1 PM in Mt. Carmel Church. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice or Mt. Carmel Church.
