Predeceased by her husband, Salvatore "Sam" in 2001; her parents, Peter & Teresa Gentile; and her siblings, Benny, Mary, Tony & Frank Gentile. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Maria & Charlie Schreiber of Webster, and their children, Charlie, Peter & Liz Schreiber. She is also survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Maria Zaccardo, and their son David of FL. Santa is survived by her brother, Jerry (Louise) Gentile; and sisters-in-law, Virginia & Maytha Gentile; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews & dear cousins. She is also survived by her many friends and compassionate caregivers at The Maplewood in Webster, where her laughter could often be heard throughout the community. Santa is best remembered for her love and faith in God, her zest for life, and her contagious laughter. The love of her life was her grandchildren, whose daily lives she was still very involved in. Santa worked for the Rochester City School District for many years, retiring from Benjamin Franklin High School in 1980. Santa never hesitated to tell you she loved you, gave of herself freely, and treated every minute on earth as a gift. At Santa's request, there will be no calling hours. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 AM at St. Rita's Church, Webster, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Rita's School, Webster, NY.
