Obituary of Clayton Caves

Caves, Clayton L. Webster: August 14, 2013. Went home to the Lord peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Age 97. Predeceased by his parents, George T. and Marcella Caves, wife, Phyllis L. (Sykes); infant son, Daniel; daughter, Debra Ann; brothers, Frank, Ken and Jack. Survived by his wife, Jane "Dolly"; children, Kathleen (Paul) Robertson, Richard (Randall Fisher) Caves, Margaret (Dean) Schreiber, Kenny (Debbie) Caves, Timothy Daniel (Carla) Caves, Deborah Ranieri, Timothy Clayton Caves; close step-son, Steve McIntyre; sister, Lillian Caves; brother, Jerold Caves; close nephew, William (Bessie) Heinrich; many nieces and nephews; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Clayton served during WWII with the 1st Marine Division at Guadalcanal. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Canandaigua VA Hospital Building 7A. Calling hours Monday 2-5PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Nine Mile Point Rd. (Route 250). A Service will be held after visiting at 5PM. On Tuesday family and friends will meet at St. Mary's Cemetery at 11AM for his Graveside Service. In lieu of flowers donations to the VA Recreation Dept., Bldg. 7A, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
