Obituary of Samuel M. Lerman

Sam Lerman, age 29, of Rochester, NY, passed away suddenly on January 11, 2025. He is survived by his loving mother, sister, niece, and nephew. He was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents.

Born in Uzbekistan on November 18, 1995, Sam moved to Rochester as a child and graduated from Penfield High School in 2013. He went on to earn a degree in computer science from the University of Rochester, where he cultivated a deep passion for research, particularly in artificial intelligence. 

Sam was a creative soul who expressed himself through writing, photography, and film, excelling in all three. His curiosity and talent touched the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impression on friends and family. Sam will be remembered for his brilliant mind, creative spirit, and kind heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family are invited to attend his memorial service at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. (Rte 250) Webster on January 16, 2025, at 1pm.
