Stunned by the loss of such a warm and kind man with a wonderful wit. I have known Diane for some 35 years and had the privilege to then know Eric. The two of them would baby sit my Yorkies through the years until they found their girl Bella. My prayers are with Diane and family and God rest Eric soul to heaven

Dr Santo was a 5 star practitioner in his dentistry practice, he was always, warm , kind and gentle. He always treated my dental anxiety and put me at ease. I moved out of town, but no dentists after him, had his talent and skill. I just happened to be in Irondequoit and passed his practice lasg week , but didn't stop to say hello. Needles to say, I am in " shock " mode reading his obituary. I would tell my family and friends that he was one of those dentist 's who looked like he should be in LA or Hollywood because of how handsome he was. My mom hadn't seen a dentist in decades, I knew Dr S would take the time to ease her fear and got the dental work that she needed. My condolences to his wife and family, he will be sorely missed RIP Dr Santo

Eric will truly be missed. He was a kind , caring,and thoughtful person. He always took the time to ask about our family. We will miss his kind demeanor. Eric and Dave are probably target shooting together right now.:-) Love, Tom and Sue Dombroski

Eric and I go way back his Dad Bob was my first account he was a wonderful man an a exceptional dentist, I met Eric when he joined his Dads practice ,we just hit it off we shared so many memories together, he and Diane have been very special friends to me and you know when there special friends they support you in good times and bad, we morn Eric’s passing , but that’s not what he would want, he would want us to celebrate his life and all the laughter and wonderful things he brought to it

My deepest sympathy to Eric's family and the wonderful staff at his office. His kind spirit and professional demeanor will always be remembered. Some of my earliest childhood memories were climbing the stairs to his father's dental office near the park, then the transition to the current office and Eric eventually coming aboard to join his dad. Life is full of twists and turns, but one calming constant for me has been the care given to me by the Santo family.

Eric was my Dentist since he first became one. t was a pleasure to have him work magic on my teeth for every possible tooth reason. My favorite memory of Eric is when I had a wisdom tooth pulled some years ago. (Not that part) But it started hurting pretty bad a few days later. He informed me to make sure that I didn’t have Dry Socket caused from the extraction. So, when I went to see him I said I think I may have Dry Pocket. Instead of Dry Socket. I’ll never forget the jovial look on his face when he said you mean Dry Socket? I bursted out laughing and Eric finally could let his bottled up laughter out. Of course we went into another bout of laughter when I pulled out my wallet and I asked him how much do you need. ( I’m running low on cash, Eric) It was the hardest that I ever heard him laugh and, he kept trying to be serious.Then we’d laugh on and off during the entire visit. I wish everyone that was part of his life my sincere condolences.

Diane, Mrs Santo, Dr Carl, Dr Craig and all of the extended family and staff of the Irondequoit and Webster offices- I’m very sorry to learn of Dr Eric’s passing. He became my dentist when he first joined the family practice- I was just a teenager then. Both Eric and Dr Bob had a terrific “chair side” rapport - and always felt as though I was reacquainted with a neighborhood friend each visit. I will keep the family in my prayers.
