Barb was my administrative assistant at the City of Rochester Law Department from 2001-2005. In the somewhat toxic culture of law, Barb was always kind and was a true friend. We have kept in touch over the 20 years since then, and she loved seeing photos of my growing children, both of whom were babies during my time at the City. A few times we met up at The Cinema, as she was a huge movie buff, or for Indian food. I just wish I had seen her more in person these last 20 years. I realized I hadn't heard from her or seen her on social media in awhile, and then came across her obituary. I'm very sad she is gone. I will miss her.
