My dear friend Ricky and I were friends for 44 years....then I met Jim and it was the three of us....then he met his beautiful angel Kathy and the four of us never stopped laughing. To say he will be missed is an understatement....but we'll cherish the many, many memories we have till we meet up at the corner of Heaven's Winfield Bar.... There is an Eastridge Alumni Page and a 1972 page on FB. When we lose one of our own their obituary is posted. I help manage both. I want to share with you what I wrote. "It's always sad to share the news of one of our Eastridge Lancer Family. Rich was our 1972 classmate. Having over 500 in our class it was hard to get to know everyone. While I didn't know him very well Rich's positive aura, infectious smile and laugh stood out. We will always celebrate him as one of us. His family chose the perfect photo of him that shows that smile that lit up his whole face. Please lift up his family in the healing light as they mourn such a profound loss that many of us share in. May even more treasured memories bring joy. May it bring comfort that his bright light will continue to be celebrated by the countless lives he touched on earth. Rich is blessed with eternal life every time his name is said, his story is told, a tradition is kept, his lessons are paid forward but most importantly as you love each other like he loved you.
