Obituary of Marcello Molisani

Marcello Molisani passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 17th at the age of 58 after a battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and close friends.

Marcello was born on July 10th, 1966, in Rochester, NY. He attended Bishop Kearney High School, graduating in 1984. He graduated from the University of Buffalo, majoring in psychology. He went on to become a successful salesman for Verizon Wireless.

Marcello enjoyed playing pool and shared fond memories of playing rugby and soccer when he was younger. Marcello was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at age 44, but put up a fight every day, retaining his strength and positivity.

Marcello was known for his quick wit and sense of humor which he maintained through the end of his life.

He is predeceased by his father Giuseppe and his Aunt Toni, who passed away in March. He is survived by his two sons, Bronson and Maddox; his mother, Wanda; as well as many family members and friends. He is also survived by his three closest friends, Billy, Dave, and Scott, who he has known for most of his life.

Marcello will remain in the hearts of all who knew him and will continue to inspire us to be strong.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Penfield on Thursday, July 25th at 10:30 am.
