Obituary of Neftali Santiago

Rochester- Neftali Santiago, 91, dearly departed on Saturday, July 6, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family. 

Neftali was born on March 8, 1933 in Loiza, Puerto Rico to the late Natividad and Francisca Santiago. He was a retiree from Kodak and the owner of Chucky's Grocery Store in Rochester, NY for many years. 

He is predeceased by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Rosita Santiago and his first born son Neftali ‘Rico’ Santiago Jr. 

He is survived by his two sons: Melvin Santiago and Michael Santiago, his three daughters: Anna Rodriguez, Mary Santiago and Brenda Santiago and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and family. 

Calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home 1395 N. Goodman Street Rochester, NY 14609 on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 2-4pm. A funeral service will be held by pastor Neftali Mendez at the funeral home on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 11am. Burial will be held shortly after at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
