Predeceased by her husband Sam. Survived by her children Michael Mate, Scott (Heather) Mate and Sharron Mate; Grandchildren, Christopher (Jamie Henry) Mate, Kayleigh Mate, Sammy (Skylar) Mate; Great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Trevyn & Shealyn.

Arlene was a classical pianist, she taught piano and attended the Eastman School of Music. She was a loving, caring, and generous person who loved her family, pets, and all the holidays! She will be dearly missed.

The family would like to thank the Jewish Home for the last 7 years of their care, especially to Laura, Yvonne, Jonathan, Debby, Cheryl, Lydia, Nancy & Pat. The family would also like to thank the Highland Palliative Care East Unit for caring for Arlene in the last 3 weeks.

Services and interment were held privately at White Haven Memorial Park.
