Obituary of LaValle A. Stephan

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, after a brief battle with cancer, on June 2, 2024, at age 73. Survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Mark; Children, Amanda (Michael) Jarquin, Andrew (Emily) Stephan, and Katie Stephan; Grandchildren, Jacob and Mark Stephan, and Xander and Lucas Jarquin; Brothers, Michael (Kathleen) Cassata and Neil (Marlene) Cassata; Also, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

LaValle had a proud 40-year career as a medical technologist at Genesee Hospital and RGH.  She volunteered her time as a Girl Scout leader, youth Catholic religous instructor and for the Ronald McDonald House charities. 
LaValle enjoyed her yard, gardening; boating in the Thousand Islands; RV'ing across the U.S. and Canada; quilting and crafting.  She was known for her christmas cookies and "crapfts."  What she loved and cherished most was spending time with her family and being a Nona. 

 Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 6, from 3pm – 7pm at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, N.Y. On Friday, please join the family for her Funeral Mass at 11:15am at Church of the Assumption 20 East Ave, Fairport, N.Y. 14450. Interment private.
