My Godfather is Sonny.
I can't believe he has passed away.
All my life he was a monumental man in my life, and was one of the most mentally strong men I have ever known. I can't believe the torture he had to endure both physically, and mentally the last part of his life in human form.
I hope the people that contributed to his mental pain know that everyone that knows the truth are in pure disgust. They committed the sin of NOT honoring their father.
Sonny was a beautiful grandfather to his daughter's children, and watched over them frequently whenever his daughter, and son in law asked.
I hope Sunny Rebecca's kids remember him forever since he loved them so much, and missed them.
Over stupidty,, and jealousy they lost out on spending quality time with him since they had just lost their beautiful grandmother Donna, who was like an aunt to me.
It's sad that the grandchildren lost both their grandparents.
The disgrace was softened by the daughter that stepped in, and took care of him, and helped soften the pain.
The last time I spoke to my Godfather, he said such loving things, and comforted me in my sadness of being so far away from him.
I once witnessed Sonny save a little girl's life after she fell out of the back of her mother's car, and the car was on top of her. Sonny lifted the car up like the hulk, and then realized the little girl was choking on her gum to death. He cleared her airway, and was home the same night from the hospital.
All my life, he was my hero in so many ways.
I let him know my feelings, and my respect for him on one of our last conversations.
I will never forget him.
We were always safe with him.
I Thank him for always looking on the bright side, and giving me good advice.
I will never forget everything he did for me, and my family.
May God rest his soul, and heal our hearts.
Until we meet again GODFATHER! I LOVE YOU! The picture if Sonny holding a baby is me at my Baptism.
Tears...

So sorry to hear of Sonny’s passing.
Although it has been years since we have seen each other. I will always remember the large Tubiola picnics and him singing and playing his guitar.

It is so very hard to believe that Drew and I both lost our best friends this past year. Sonny and Donna. Sonny had a great sense of humor and made us laugh any time we were all together. He was often like a big brother to me. He suffered emotionally and physically this past year. Rest in peace dear friend. You are sadly missed.

Sonny, you will forever be missed. You we're definitely more like an Uncle to us than a Cousin. I will miss bringing Ginger out to see you when you always came over for coffee. I love you so very much.
