Obituary of Rosita Santiago
Mrs. Rosita “Rosi” Santiago, was born August 30th, 1940 in Arroyo, Puerto Rico.
She was united in holy matrimony with Neftali C. Santiago on October 3rd, 1958. Their union was blessed with six children.
She was beloved by her family and friends. She was resilient and compassionate, having volunteered with Rochester’s Special Olympics for several years. She always made sure that no person left her home hungry. She was an excellent cook!
She loved gardening, flowers and novellas. She had many loving qualities. The roles that she’s most revered for are those of mommy and abuela.
Like the flower that she was named after, a rose, she was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was predeceased by both of her parents Esteban Garcia Laboy and Vicenta Sanchez Lind, her two siblings Marcos A. Garcia and Carlos D. Garcia and her eldest son Neftali “Rico” Santiago Jr. (Jaqueline Santiago)
