I have known this fine lady most of my life. Mrs. Campanaro was our school secretary, and served at St. Ambrose School for many years. With a warm and welcoming smile, Mrs. Campanaro offered support to students, parents, and teachers. When she moved to Cane Patch, I was always delighted to run into her in church or one of the local stores. I had the good fortune of reconnecting with Adeline again when I worked at RGH where she served for many years as a volunteer. Rest in peace, dear friend. Much loved. Never forgotten. Dear Lynda, Carole, and family, My deepest and heartfelt sympathy as you mourn the loss of your dear mother. Adeline was the beloved Secretary at St. Ambrose School when I was a student there in the late 60's and 70's. I will forever remember her beautiful smile and kindness. My family thought the world of Adeline, especially my dear mother who was a teacher at St. Ambrose. You are now both together in heaven. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant. To Lynda, Carole, and all of your families: Your Mom and I go back to the McQuaid days. We were both secretaries there in the 60’s. She was a great role model and friend. We lost touch over the years but then reconnected a dozen or so years ago. We were able to share many good memories over lunches after that. In 2019 friends of George Malcom Kent (1934-2019), Mrs. Campanaro's" friend and colleague from the St Ambrose School staff, gathered for an impromptu memorial at Charlie Reidel's in Webster. We were all just plain thrill that "Mrs. C" was able to join us--the highlight of the day. A great soul and friend of us all.
