Gail A. Frank

Rochester– Gail Ann (nee Unterborn) Frank of Rochester, NY entered into eternal rest surrounded by family on January 1, 2024. Gail, born on June 25, 1958, was predeceased by her parents, Donald Unterborn and Edith Barr and one brother, Gary Unterborn. She is survived by her children Corinne (Kenneth) Sandholzer and Alexander (Christina) Frank, beloved grandson Donovan Sandholzer, dear friend Sara Battaglia, and nieces and nephews.

Gail loved all things Rochester, especially community events like Greek Festival and Lilac Festival. Gail was a passionate animal advocate–especially of cats, lover of rock music, and enjoyed making friends wherever she went whether that was at the Rochester Public Market, attending pub trivia with her son, or going to church with her daughter.

Family and friends are invited to her memorial service on Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 AM at Asbury First Methodist Church, 1050 East Ave in Rochester with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alley Cat Allies, Lil Bub’s Big Fund, Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets, Verona Street Animal Society, or any local animal welfare charity.
