I was 13 years old the oldest of my brother Joe and our little sister Christy when my parents had moved our family from California to Rochester and I met my Great Grandma and my aunt Grace my Grandpas mom and sister along with my uncle Tony and my uncle John. Every Sunday we would all meet over at Gramas and aunt Graces house for the best homemade Italian sausage my Grandma would make herself along with homemade spaghetti sauce it was the best pasta I have had to this day aunt Graces knew her way around a kitchen she would make the hot sauce so hot it would burn your eyes 20 feet away along with outstanding potatoes and eggs for us kids the one dish I never heard of with not so great of name was the Eggplant. I could go on just about the food needles to say the wonderful food and smells had left a deep impression it was the family time we spent together on those Sundays as i rember left memories for a life time my aunt Grace was a strong and independent woman with a sense of humor and love to laugh she was always upbeat with a smile is how i remember her she will be missed but not forgotten thank you my name is Geno Smith I'm the son Garry and Janet Smith the Grandson of Danny and Clara Tuosto
