I will always be heartbroken over losing my good friend for over 25 years. He was like a brother to me, days we loved each other and days we couldn't stand each other. But in the end I always knew that no matter how much we fought sometimes he would always be there for me. I had the honor of playing in several bands with him, and i always admired his passion for music. He could be very selfless and was always thought of others first. I even named my third daughter after him. I still can not believe he is gone. He will always be in my heart and I am forever grateful I was apart of his life.

My sincere condolences to the loss of a friend for so many years. Rick was such a kind and friendly person. Loved to always have joked around with him every time I would see him out performing with his band. We have known each other since the late 70s early 80s. My heart felt prayers will be going out to his wife and family members. No more pain and no more suffering and his family will see him again when they get to heaven. You will truly be missed by so many musicians. Fly high my friend. I love you
