Rest In Peace Ben ❤️
I’ve known you since 4th grade and you were always a pleasure to be around. I’m really happy and eternally grateful to have become good friends with you again before you left. I really appreciate our long chats after every shift we had together, those conversations are something I will never ever forget. I wish I got to see you one last time to tell you how much I appreciated you and how significantly better you made my life. Your friends and family still love you more than you could ever imagine ❤️❤️ -Ana Myrie

Dear Mike, Bridget, Shayna, and Will,
Words alone cannot express the sadness and heartache I feel for the sudden loss of Ben.
I just cannot imagine the pain you are all going through. I feel so honored and blessed to
know Ben. I will miss our conversations on life and what he was looking forward to in the future.
Ben was a great son and brother who always put himself first. May you all treasure the years you had with your son and brother,
and never forget his beautiful smile. May his soul be with you forever in your heart. Ben, I will truly miss you.
RIP, my friend,
Always in my Heart,
Sandie Tobin

We are so very sorry to learn of Ben's passing. Though my daughter only knew him for a short time in summer theater camp, she often remarked on how kind he was. My family holds yours on our hearts as you navigate this difficult time.

I only knew him for a little while when he was in Carrie the Musical over the summer, but he was an amazing guy and gave the most amazing hugs. I’m terribly sorry for your loss, and I hope he rests in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Ben's passing. I taught him last year at PHS in A.P. U.S. Government & Politics/Economics. It was my favorite class of the day, and a lot of that was due to Ben. I have also lost a child and this will be a long process, but we at PHS wish your family sympathy and peace during this difficult time - be well - Paul R. Gabbey

I just met Ben over the summer and immediately I knew there was something special about him. He was so funny and kind. We would talk about our favorite movies and he was my dance partner in a show together. Everyone will miss you so much ben I wish we would've gotten to talk at least one more time. You were such a bright light and you will be so so missed ❤️

I’ve meet Ben during 9th grade when we both did cross country together. Since I was pretty nervous heading into Freshman year and doing Cross country, it was nice to have someone around to talk to. He was kind-spirited and just a genuine person overall. I wouldn’t say I was super close friends with him, but we did a lot of activities together. We both did ski club and just last year, I had the opportunity to play Varsity tennis with him. I was shocked to hear the news of his passing and wish that I could hang out with him more.

Even though Ben and I weren’t close, we were Nordic ski teammates from 7th grade until junior year. He was a friend to everyone, had a great sense of humor, and was a very dedicated skier. I am really lucky to have known him and I am so incredibly sorry to hear of his passing. I am thinking about your family during this time, and he will never be forgotten.

Ben had a very kind and happy way about him. He had an infectious smile and a cool streak. I always chuckled seeing him riding his bike to work. Zipping down Fox Hill with his shades on, earbuds in and of course no handed. He is greatly missed.

I worked with Ben at the McDonald’s in Penfield. We weren’t close, but we worked together and I got to experience the light that he was. I don’t have a single negative memory about him. Although he kept to himself mostly, at times he opened up and we had fun times working in the kitchen. Being young adults trying to make sense of the world around us. My deepest condolences to his family. May god give you strength. I’ll be sending up my prayers and celebrating his life with you in spirit.
Warmth,
A friend

Since the 2nd grade, Ben has been our son's best friend, and has been a constant fixture in our home, in our conversations, in our lives and in our hearts. We are absolutely heartbroken and devastated by the loss of Ben. His smile brightened up the room, his warm heart made you feel welcome and his laughter and deep voice brought joy. We will all miss Ben and his vibrant spirit, and our son will most certainly will miss his best friend's presence in his life. Much love to Bridget, Mike, Shayna and Will, as well as the entire family, and anyone who loved Ben (anyone who knew Ben, loved him!). Our sincere and wholehearted sympathies for this massive loss...Ben will be missed, but most certainly will never be forgotten.

Ben made my life better in countless ways. We both made each other better people each and every day. I love all of the things we have picked up from each other. I catch myself saying “oh my days”, and he became quite the theatre enjoyer. Although we cannot share our California apartment anymore, and keep our plan of both trying to make it in the film business, he will always be there in my heart, and we will still be in it together. We always just had a good time. Blasting “Mary on a Cross”, sleepovers and cake night, him being down to do whatever weird activity. One of the funniest memories to me was when Ben tried to get me to work with him at McDonalds. I went to the interview, and so did he. He went and listened and watched from a nearby table to see how it went. I am proud to have had Ben as one of my best friends. He was kind, open to new things, a music lover like me, and always gave such wonderful advice. I knew I could always talk about everything with him. I will miss him so much, but he will always be with me.

I’ll always remember Ben’s infectious smile and laugh, and the way he could light up any room. He always made things more fun and was always open to any random plans we made. You’ll be in my heart forever Ben, thanks for being an amazing friend.
