Obituary of Juan B. Cruz
Juan Bautista Cruz was born on November 5, 1942, in Ciales, Puerto Rico to Ramon Cruz (Predeceased) and Gregoria Rivera (Predeceased). He is Predeceased by his wife, Juanita Cruz; his son, John Cruz Jr, and 5 siblings.
He is survived by his 7 siblings; Jose R. Cruz, Rita Cruz, Lydia M. Cruz, Dolores J. Cruz, Luis A. Cruz, Rosa Cruz, Jesus M. Cruz; His children, Elizabeth Cruz, John W. Cruz, Thomas Garren, Iran Alberto Matos, Madeline Cruz, Arelys Cruz; Step-children, Orlando (Candace) Garcia, Gloria Aponte, Dori Miranda; Grandchildren, Jason Cruz, John D. Cruz, Eileen Vargas, Shanice Canidy, Ian Santiago, Yasmine Cruz, John Cruz III, Jacob Cruz, Jaylani Cruz, Maley Garcia, Mason Garcia, Tamyalys Shannon, Arelyna Shannon, Azynalys Shannon; 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and extended family
Juan loved boxing, country, salsa and merengue music. He was a master carpenter and loved to invent and build things. He had a grand love for his family, especially his grandchildren. With his interesting sense of humor, he loved making people laugh. He will live on through his family. Loved forever and never forgotten.
Calling hours will be held Friday, September 29 from 4-8pm at Falvo Funeral Home (1395 N. Goodman St. Rochester, NY 14609.) Saturday please meet the family at 11am at Annunciation Church for his funeral Mass.
