Sam and his brother John were our family's barbers when growing up. Until my father Fred Migliore passed (March 2020) he continued having his hair cut by Sam. I will always remember Sam as a great man with a quick smile and wit.

I will miss Uncle Sam very much. He always had a smile on his face. I can remember a few times when I was little and my mom or dad would stop by his barber shop to just say "hello". We did not live too far from his place. My fondest memories of Uncle Sam were seeing him at the Club picnics. I was the youngest, but he still let me play bocci. I can remember going with my parents to his house he built in Mendon. We thought it was so awesome that he did it all himself. Yet Uncle Sam was ever so humble. My dear cousins Joe, Holly, Sal & Rosa along with your children. We are heartbroken at the loss of this beautiful man. He was like a second father! He was so loving, appreciative, thoughtful, sweet, kind and funny. We were thrilled when he and our mama became companions. We have so many beautiful memories that we will cherish. We’re happy that he’s finally where he’s wanted to be for a long time. But for selfish reasons, of course we wish he never had to leave us. God bless you all for the wonderful care you gave him!
