Dear Franca, Mary Ann and Bridget: I was just thinking of your Dad the other day. I’m so sorry to hear this sad news.
I couldn’t have been more than 11 or 12 years old when I met your Dad (and Mom). My Dad and brother both owned Fiats and met your Dad through the Datsun dealership on Lake Ave where he worked. My parents became such good friends and mentors to your parents that my Mom & Dad became Godparents to Mary Ann, and remained close for many decades. They were often at our house for dinners with you three who were so young then.
Later on, it was fate that brought Vanessa and my daughter Roseanna together singing in a band, and again I saw your Dad frequently, and the three of you, and got to know Tony.
I often would run into your Dad at various stores and we’d reminisce and catch each other up on our families.
I truly am very sorry for your loss. Angelo was a wonderful, engaging man, who was so very proud of his entire family. He will be greatly missed.
