Obituary of Ronald M. Vogt
Ronald M. Vogt
WEBSTER/CAPE CORAL FLORIDA - August 26, 2023. Survived by his wife, Carolyn (Masters); daughters, Nicole (John) Spade, Megan (Patrick) Marcil; grandchildren, Emilia, Ethan, Albert; sisters, Donna (Dale) MacPherson, Peggy (Warren) Horton, Carol (Robert) Cole; brother, Thomas (Marina) Vogt; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Ron grew up in Greece, New York and spent most of his life in the greater Rochester area. Ron was a U.S. Army veteran and throughout his life loved the military. He worked as a commercial truck driver for 38 years, including at Interstate and Yellow Freight, accruing over one million miles on the road accident free. After he retired, he worked as a school bus driver for the Webster School District where he was known as "Mr. Ron".
He was adventurous and also loved his Harley motorcycles. He had a deep passion for his family and adored his girls dearly. He loved vacationing with his family on cruises and trips alike. Wherever he traveled he made sure to collect souvenir pins from the Hard Rock Cafe. He was a kind and gentle soul with a great sense of humor, and always a master at trivia.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 2nd, from 10am-11am with a service at 11am, both at Falvo Funeral Home (1295 Frpt. Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, NY 14580). Internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to the Wounded Warrior Project (P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516)
