Obituary of Pamela M. Rubenstein

Pamela McGreivey Rubenstein, loving wife and mother, passed away August 24, 2023. Pam was born and raised in upstate New York. She earned her bachelor's degree and landed a job at SUNY Morrisville as a tutor coordinator where she met her husband (Steve) of 32 years. During that time, she gave birth to three wonderful children (Marc, Sean, and Kristen). Over the years Pam has lived in multiple states before moving back to upstate New York. During this time, she made countless friends that she cherished and considered family. She also earned her teaching certificate which she put to good use. Pam’s number one priority was always her children and their well-being; she loved her family more than anything. Pam loved to travel, sew, hike, and bike. Over the years she raised five thousand dollars for children with cancer by participating in the Great Cycle Challenge. She also loved yoga and earned her yoga teaching certificate as well. Pam was eagerly awaiting the birth of her first grandchild. 

Pam is survived by her husband (Steve Rubenstein) and their three children; Marc Rubenstein (HaleyDell’Orso), Sean Rubenstein (Bethany Rubenstein), and Kristen Rubenstein (Sam Adams). She is also survived by her mother (Cynthia McGreivey), predeceased by her father (John C. McGreivey), survived by her brother John C. McGreivey III (Michelle McGreivey), sister Hope McGreivey-Griffis, nephew Chris Anderson (Jessica Rossler), nieces; Jaelynn McGreivey, Sarah Griffis (Brendan Wanek), Mary-Claire, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Pam asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Great Cycle Challenge USA (greatcyclechallenge.com).

Calling hours will be held Tuesday (8/29/23) from 2-4 PM followed by a service at 4 PM at the Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt Rd (Rte. 250), Webster NY 14580.
