Obituary of Alton C. Jenkins

Alton “Al” Carey Jenkins, 76, of Brighton, N.Y. passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at his home under the loving care of his wife and family.

He was born in Lawrenceburg, T.N. On September 19, 1946, the son of Loyal and Grace (Pardy) Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Eldred; daughter, Heather Jenkins Jabaut (Craig); grandson, Hayden Jabaut; sister, Deborah Thompson; sister in law, Linda Lazore; brothers in law, James Eldred, Michael Eldred (Carol); godchild, Nicole Eldred; and many nieces and nephews.

Al loved his wife and family and the life they built together over forty years. Al was retired from a long career in retail business management. He enjoyed traveling. He loved his golden retrievers, Madison and Sky. He had a passion for golf and the Dallas Cowboys. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life, Sunday August 13, 2023 at Perlos Restaurant, 202 N. Washington St., East Rochester at 1pm.
