Jane was born on June 21, 1931 in Rochester. She graduated from Mercy High School and worked at Kodak as a secretary where she met her husband and married on October 17, 1953. After having children, she became a full-time homemaker and took pride in her family and home. She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed her tennis outings with her girlfriends and doubles play with her husband. She was a social butterfly – always up for an adventure or outing. She was a foodie, enjoyed shopping and loved her cats.
During the last few years, she had a loyal group of caregivers affectionately called “Team Jane”. They enriched her life with a perfect mix of TLC and shenanigans. We are forever grateful for their compassion and care. A special thank you to Christy Davis and Joanne “JoJo” Rolland for their care and support during Jane’s final days.
Celebration of Life to be held Sunday, October 8th at 11am at Joey's Pasta House, 1789 Penfield Rd, Penfield, NY 14526. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal rescue group of your choice.
