Obituary of Anthony J. Lattuca

It is with great sadness that we share that Anthony J. “Tony” Lattuca, 73, of Webster, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2023, surrounded by his adoring family.

He is predeceased by his father, Anthony Lattuca; step-father, Frank DiPrimo, in-laws, George and Ellie Nientimp.

Survived by his cherished wife of 52 years, Linda (Nientimp); loving daughters, Stephanie (Jesse) Ruffalo and Amanda (Walt) Van Leuven; treasured grandchildren, Brady and Lindsay Ruffalo, and Aubrey and Vaughn Van Leuven; mother, Marian Murray; sister, JoAnn Lattuca; brother, Frank (Tracey) DiPrimo; aunt, Gina Rinere; sisters-in-law, Marie (Norb) Rozek, Janice (Ed) Krause; many nieces, nephews, and dear family and friends.

Tony was born in Rochester, NY, on July 29, 1949. He graduated from Aquinas Institute in 1967, and then attended Rochester Business Institute. He worked as a Computer Analyst at Xerox and retired from Hewlett Packard.

Tony’s greatest love was spending time with his family. He was a devoted “Papa” and enjoyed being around his grandkids every chance he got. He attended all their special events and was so proud of all their many accomplishments.

His greatest passion was cooking and baking. Tony especially loved baking an abundance of Christmas cookies and sharing them with family. He loved all things Star Trek, building models, bird watching, spending time in his yard, and helping his sons-in-law with projects. Tony enjoyed many shopping trips to Hegedorn’s. He will be missed more than words can describe.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 4-7 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd., Webster, NY. Please join the family on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Rita Church, 1008 Maple Drive, Webster, NY for his Funeral Mass.
