Obituary of Antoinette C. Dorsey

Antoinette Dorsey, daughter of Glicerio and Maria Cesolani, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday morning, June 6th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Antoinette was 93 years old. Along with her parents, Antoinette was preceded in death by her loving sisters Ida and Genevieve. Antoinette is survived by her five devoted sons: Charles (Patricia); David (Deborah); John (Sandra); Paul (Lori); and Christopher (Denise-Marie Santiago). Antoinette also leaves behind numerous grandchildren: Lauren, Shawna, Natasha, Nikki, Cassandra, Emily, Lucas, Sarah, and Alex. Antoinette is also survived by her brother, Frank (Deanna) Cesolani, her dear cousin Eunice Leone, and several nieces.

Antoinette was a devout catholic who attended mass regularly at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church from her youth until the church closed.
Antoinette’s greatest joys came from spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for her family.

At the request of the family there will be no public viewing. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Monday, June 19th at Peace of Christ Parish in St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd in Rochester. Interment immediately following the service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to St. Padre Pio Institute of Rochester located at 141 Frank Dimino Way, Rochester, NY 14624.
