Obituary of Calogero Alonci

Passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2023, at age 88 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Filomena, his parents, Antonino & Alfonsa Alonci, and his 11 brothers & sisters. Survived by his daughters, Florence (Peter) Sarratori, Grace (Giovanni) Vella; Grandchildren, Salvatore (Emily) Sarratori, Charles (AnnaMarie) Sarratori, Nancy (Matthew) DiPerna, Joanna (Damian Campana) Vella and Frank Vella; Great-grandchildren, Lorenzo, Gianna, Salvatore & Ella; Brother-in-law, Pasquale (Scolastica) Piccininni; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. 

Calogero's life reflected his love of family and friends, and appreciation of family traditions, which he passed on to his children and the next generations.

 Calling hours Thursday 4-7 pm at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. (Rte.250). On Friday, please meet the family 10:30 am in St. Joseph’s Church (43 Gebhardt Rd, Penfield) for the celebration of his Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his memory. Entombment Holy Sepulchre.
