Obituary of Edna Ann Micciche

Edna Ann Micciche died peacefully with her 2 children by her side on May 4, 2023. Ann died at 81 years of age. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Louis J. Micciche. She is survived by her son Angelo; daughter-in-law, Nicole; daughter, Madeline (Lana); son-in-law, Louis Pulvino; granddaughters, Gianna, Emily, Lorenza; her 3 sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Ann dedicated her life to providing love and support to the people in her world. She started at a young age as a foster child caring for her younger foster siblings. She later established an in-home daycare center because she loved kids and having the hustle and bustle of more children in the house. Ann always wanted a big family, and this was her way of accomplishing her dream. Ann became very close to many of the families she worked with throughout the years.

Ann was a devoted Catholic. She and her husband attended mass daily and were very involved in church activities. They especially enjoyed “coffee hour” that was held after mass so they could socialize with the other parishioners.

Ann was a devoted and loving grandmother to her 3 granddaughters. She helped raise them and was actively involved in their lives, surpassing the normal grandparent role.

Ann was foremost a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.

We would like to thank all the staff at St. Ann’s Day Program that both our parents attended. Mom loved this program; she adored the staff and other participants. It brightened her day and after her husband passed, they helped her mourn him. Thank you for providing such great care for both of our parents.

No prior calling hours. Please join the family for her funeral mass on June 10 at 11:00am at St. Cecilia’s Church (2732 Culver Rd. Rochester, NY 14622) followed by a Celebration of Life held at the adjoining reception area.
