I played baseball with Phil in high school. He was a good second baseman. For a while I played shortstop and we turned a lot of double plays. That wasn't easy to do in high school because you have to execute quickly and precisely to beat the runners. Phil was always in the right place. I also remember that he was generally upbeat and would have a kind word. One time I made an error and felt terrible. Phil came over and told me to forget about it, it happens to everyone. It meant a lot.

So terribly sad to hear of Phil's passing. What a great guy, hilarious and gregarious. I could always count on Phil pedaling away on the Lifecycle at the front of my gym whenever he was there, and could always count on a laugh with him and great conversation. My condolences to John and all the Stevers.

I am very Sorry to hear of Philes passing. Just the other day I ran into Brad. I asked what Phil was up to? He told me the usual. He was always traveling for work in the area. I have known Phil for 30 plus years in the HVAC industry. When I think of Phil a smile comes to me. Phil was always Quick with the jokes and stories. He always had you Laughing. One time while working out of Webster in the Office for Lang Heating I joined world Gym and would go early in the morning to workout. I walk in the Gym I see this person riding a Bike. It looked like the spirit of Christmas future? The person had looke to be several layers of sweat shirts on. One being Hooded over the head. I walk by Frank Rizzo on the other side of the Isles I hear Hey! How ya dooooing? I turn around thinking this person knows me? I look back I see sweat dripping all over the Bike! I look close. I see Phil up underneath the Hood! He was trying to loose weight. But he did a good job! Frank Rizzo is Laughing at the look on my face! Oh Phil was always a Great Person. His Humor and Witt will be missed by many. Take comfort and Knowing that he had a lot of Friends. I will keep everyone in our thoughts and Prayers.
Sincerely
Gary Prodrick

My condolences to the Stever family. I'm thankful to have met Phil. Every time he came to visit he made us laugh with his goofy jokes, flashing his lights in the parking lot at the employees, and knocking on the window on his way out every Friday!
I promise to knock on the way out for you this Friday buddy!
Sending strength & love,
Cortney (TRS)

My deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of Phil. Though my time knowing Phil was short, I am grateful to have met Phil in 2021 and am very thankful for the wisdom he shared with me. Phil and I both shared interest in sports cars, and we always traded crazy stories about our adventures in them.
Phil, I light this blue candle for you as it is the closest to our favorite car color, black. I know you're up there tearing up the streets, and I look forward to one day cruising with you.

My deepest condolences go out to Mary, Liz and the rest of Phil's family. God be with you during this very difficult time and give you strength. Lead your mind to all the happy memories you have of him.
To say his death has hit me like a ton of bricks is putting it mildly.
I have had the pleasure to work closely with Phil for the last few years and got to know him personally as well as professionally. Phil and I became friends during this time, he endlessly had me laughing with his quick wit and stories and his way with words.
He was salt of the earth, a man with a generous and kind heart who put everyone else first before himself.
You will be forever remembered and missed Phil.

I have so many wonderful memories of my brother by law, Phil Stever, my grandmother used to call him Steve Philer, so great. He always checked in with all of our relatives, my grandmother now my mother, our cousins Carm and Jack. Phil was a strong force in our family and we are devastated. We know he is with the angels now and we will miss him forever. His jokes, his awesome clam bakes, the bike rides, the stop ins for a quick one. As you would say "Good Luck and Good Selling" Love you brother!
