Obituary of Helen J. DiMino

Passed away peacefully on April 28, 2023, at age 96. 

Helen is predeceased by her son, Raymond DiMino; Parents, Luigi and Josephine LoPresti; Siblings, Jenny Angilella, Claire LoCicero, Yolanda Vito, John and Phillip LoPresti; Sons-in-law, Kenneth Duttinger and George Karabinakis.
Survived by her husband, Frank DiMino Sr.; Children, Diane (DiMino) Duttinger, Donna (DiMino) Karabinakis, Frank DiMino Jr., Ronald (Kathleen) DiMino, Kimberly (DiMino) D’Amico; Grandchildren, Rebecca (Russell) Guelli, Michael Bree, Kenneth (Brianna) Duttinger, Leonidas and Nikos Karabinakas, Sarah, David, and Rachelle DiMino, Samuel and Tia D’Amico; Great-grandchildren, Russell Jr., Brooke, Daniel and Dario Guelli, Nathaniel, Nicholas, and Elise Duttinger.

Helen was a vivacious, giving person loved by many. She was a lifelong active member of the Theta Kappa Rho sorority, which was formed during her East High School days. She was a member of the Genetaska Club of Rochester, which raises funds for many charities. Helen enjoyed her many card clubs, and traveled with family and friends to China, Egypt, Italy, and Sicily. 

Helen had a beautiful soprano voice and studied opera in NYC in her youth. In subsequent years she was asked to sing at her friends’ children’s weddings. 

Helen was foremost a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 4pm-7pm at the Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fpt. Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, N.Y. 14580. On Saturday, May 13, 2023, please meet the family at 12 Noon in Faith Bible Church, 1095 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14623 for the celebration of her life.
