Rochester: March 24, 2023, at age 97.
Predeceased by his wife, Margaret and his brother, Alphonse. Survived by his children, Jacqueline LoPresti, Charlene (Robert) Sandman, Michael (Robyn) LoPresti, and Stephen (Cheryl) LoPresti; Grandchildren, Robert (Kristine) Sandman, Michele (Peter) Krurnowski, Michelle, Sarah, and Katelyn LoPresti, Sean, Christen, Caitlyn, and Walter Bateman; Great-grandchildren, Robert & Lauryl Sandman, Julia & Kayla Krurnowski, Penelope LoPresti, and Russell Bateman; nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Santo is the 2nd born son of Philip and Cora who immigrated from Italy to America in 1913.
He was the founder of LoPresti Heating Co and built the company into a flourishing business over 50 long years.
Santo married his high school sweetheart, Margaret, in 1945, beginning a successful marriage lasting longer than 70 years until Margaret’s death in 2016.
Santo and Margaret enjoyed the love and respect of four children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No prior calling hours. Santo’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 10 am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (601 Edgewood Ave. Rochester, NY 14618). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105). Entombment White Haven Memorial Park.
