My Aunt Anita was very special to me. We enjoyed many hours together talking whether on the phone or in person and I really valued my time with her. I’m going to miss her love and kindness and her humor. Eating and conversation was our thing. The world lost a special person. She finally is reunited with her life partner that she never stopped grieving for. I will miss her in every sense of the word. I am so sorry that her children and grandchildren have lost such a loving mom and grandmother, her family was her number one priority.

I will always remember Aunt Anita as the woman that captured my Uncle Kurt's heart and filled his life with such happiness. Marrying her brought him the family of his own he always wanted. She was classy, smart, and very loving. She was always so happy for you to call and chat. I will never forget her!

one of my first memories of anita was when she hosted a bluebird meeting. She taught all the girls how to feed, hold, burp and bathe a newborn baby. That was over 50 years ago. She would’ve been in her late 20s. She never seemed to age in my eyes. Anita had a beautiful, nurturing soul.
