Carmelo Cancellieri

Rochester: Passed peacefully on March 15, 2023, at age 82.

Carmelo was a devoted and loving husband, father, friend and man.  He is predeceased by his sister, Rosetta and brother, Giuseppe.  Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Rita: sons, Ignazio (Charise), Carlo (Annemarie), Giovanni (Lela); grandchildren, Rita, Carmelo, Gennaro, Myah, Amarah, Mykaila, Carlo, Marco, Paolo, Aurora, and Giancarlo; sisters, Giuseppina, Vincenzina (Pino) Spata, Maria Pizzolanti; brother, Luigi (Alfonsa) and several other relatives and friends in Rochester and Italy. 

Carmelo's pride and joy was, and forever will be his family. His love, light and compassion has touched so many lives, and his heart of gold will forever be the guiding light for all who knew him. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd 4:00-7:00 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. (Rt. 250) Webster, NY 14580. Carmelo’s Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday March 23rd at 11 AM in Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road Rochester, NY 14606. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
