We are so glad that we met Jerry through going to First Bible Baptist Church and then attended the bible study at his home. He was a dear and sincere friend and had a great love for the Lord! He witnessed a lot as he wanted everyone to know Jesus as their personal Saviour. One thing I can remember that whenever you would see Jerry he would ask "Did you read your bible today?" He was a great advocate with being and staying connected with the Lord, and he loved all of us very much. He is greatly missed.

My Grandpa was the best man I knew! His laugh was contagious, his love was addicting. I loved my phone calls with him to catch up on what he was doing and what new music he was learning or what his concert schedule was like. He even would tell me about the new ladies in his life. Yup, he was a ladies man! He always made time to talk with me about life or what ever was going on. When I was just 7 years old he took me to church on Christmas Eve and I was born again. That was a special moment I hold in my heart with my grandpa he called it my reborn birthday. All he ever wanted was what was best for me and our family. He wanted our family to love one another and grow together. Today and everyday I carry him in my heart and will continue to carry his legacy for generations! will make sure his great grandkid will know they had the most amazing great grandpa. I miss him so very much!

I haven't thought about Gerry in years. He and I met at Aquinas, and we played together in a "kid's band in the late 1950's. As I recall, he was a much better sax player than I was on the piano. I can't wait to see and hear him play at heaven's gate.
