Joan Kase Conte "Kasey"
February 27, 2023. Joan was born in Rochester, NY to Joseph G. Kase and Theresa DeFransico Kase. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, her son, Kenneth Kase Conte, and brother Joseph M. Kase.
Survived by her daughter, Laurie (Vince) Pallini; Grandchildren, Danielle (Adrian) Salazar, Ashley (Patrick Shaughnessy) Pallini, Justin (Claire) Pallini, Kyle Conte, Angelina Pallini; Great-grandchildren, Joey and Gianna Salazar; Daughter-in-law, Karen Conte; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Joan was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women and St. Mary's School of Nursing. Joan continued her education at Niagara University (BS) and SUNY Brockport (MS). She enjoyed being a School Nurse Teacher for Pittsford Central School District for many years. After retirement from the school district, she pursued a career as a Geriatric Mental Health Counselor.

No prior calling hours. Please join the family Friday at 11 am in St. John’s of Rochester Church (8 Wickford Way, Fairport, NY 14450) for the celebration of her Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women (1437 Blossom Road Rochester, NY 14610). Entombment White Haven Memorial Park.
